Twisted Tower Beginner Guide

Twisted Tower drops you into a haunted 1950s resort with corrupted mascots and a toy arsenal. The climb comes down to one simple loop: conserve ammo on trash, save heavy guns for ambushes, and use your toys to reach the next floor. Here is how to make the first hour painless.
The Core Loop
Every floor follows the same shape: clear the corridors, find the next elevator or door, and pick up any toy or weapon you can carry. There is no inventory juggling — you carry everything, so the loop is about managing ammo, not slots.
The habit that hurts new players most is emptying heavy weapons on trash. The rubber-band pistol and whack-a-mole mallet are your friends for single mascots.
Your First Floor (The Hotel)
The hotel is a gentle opening that teaches you the loop.
| Step | What To Do |
|---|---|
| 1 | Follow the story corridor to your first pistol |
| 2 | Clear lobby mascots with single pistol shots |
| 3 | Pick up the mallet and melee stray enemies |
| 4 | Find the first toy upgrade for the dash |
| 5 | Take the elevator to the waterpark |
Ammo Discipline From Minute One
Ammo is the real currency in Twisted Tower. Start the habit early.
| Enemy Type | Recommended Weapon |
|---|---|
| Single trash mascot | Pistol or mallet |
| Small group | Tommy Gun or chain-gun burst |
| Ambush corridor | Shotgun |
| Elite / boss | Slingshot or ray gun |
Early Tips
Use the dash toy for invulnerability frames — it crosses kill zones and opens alternate routes. Remap anything awkward from Options. Set your difficulty to a comfortable level; Twisted Tower is playable at your own pace and you can always revisit floors.
